Non - Quorum Minutes for Meeting January 11, 2011
Cary Memorial Library
Present: Zoe Perry Wood,, Chair; Victoria Campos,,
Recording Secretary; Emily Passman; Marilyn Kolb,
Treasurer; Jackie Hawkinson; Jan Goplerud
Absent: Jonathan Cue,, Chris Kyle; Regie Gibson
Call to Order:
Zoe Perry Wood called us to order at 7:30PM.
Secretary's Report
LCA to vote on December 2010 minutes at our next
meeting.
Topics discussed tonight:
• December 2010 Minutes were approved.
• Cary Library has a sculpture now stored in a closet by
Richard E. Filipowski,, a Lexington artist /sculptor who
taught at MIT and died in 2008 -09. The Lexington
Trustees of the Public Trust has asked the LCA to find
this sculpture a new home ... Zoe to contact the new
Cary Library Director to set up a viewing date for us to
see the sculpture.
• Discussed possibility of a Web collaboration with
Lexington Open Studios.
• Jan motioned to ratify decision made by Zoe to not
fund the Marble Collection; Marilyn seconded. All in
favor.
• Marilyn presented her Treasurer's Report: We have
$141.59 in left -over MCC funds that we will reserve for
funding next year (2012).
• Marilyn also noted that there are 9 grant recipients
from 2010 that have not yet claimed their grant money.
Will send out reminder letters.
• Victoria motioned to approve the Treasurer's Report.
All in favor.
• Zoe wants to set up a meeting for interested LCA
members to decide on content for Website.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM. The next meeting will be
March 14,2011 at 7:00 PM in Cary Memorial Library. Zoe Perry-
Wood will chair this meeting.
