Nell reported the hose bibs are working well.' The Scouts planted many of the plugs only half as
deep as they should have been, and those plugs had to be redone. The Scouts also left lots of debris
around. The "stone river" needs more work, Scouts lined the paths with the cut wood lengths.

thrown into the swamp. Paul will retrieve it, The irrigation at the Lincoln Street entrance is not
working properly. There are 3 different systems all in one small area, There is one very dead limber
pine in the hedge by the fields. It needs to be removed. The portion of the Bike Path that was
destroyed by the DPW truck will be repaved soon.
Brian spoke to Jim McLaughlin, who will do the site work for the toilets. Dick Perry has the
expertise to make this all happen, The Lions and the Town have not yet signed an agreement but
this will happen soon. When they do, work will begin immediately. Dick Perry is concerned about
the money. He worries that because of the economy, the in -kind donations may be less than we
expect. Brian will contact all the youth athletic organizations to ask for their donations,
Publicity Will help With money - raising, and Mr. Manz will talk about the bathrooms at the next
Selectmen's meeting. He will also mention them in one of the Weekly articles he writes for
Lexington Patch,
Lynne received a phone call from Francis Lee who was in town for a few days, He had been at the
Park and was wondering where the memorial plaque for Teresa and Roberta had. gone. Lynne and
Nell will look for it.
We need 2 new map signs right away, one at each entrance, so people can find their way around. It
should be done as soon as possible. This is way overdue. Can Wes do this?
Mr, Manz pointed out that Judy Seppala at the DPW loves to make maps with their GrPS unit, She
would probably be happy to map the Park for us so we could locate specific places within the Park,
such as the precise location of each memorial plaque,
The suggestion was made that we will need a wall plaque on the side of the new building, saying
... "made possible by the generous contributions of..,"
