TDM Allocation for FYI Lexpress Budget
➢ To establish an annual distribution plan for TDM funds, Bill constructed several
models.
➢ The TDM allocation has three components: mandatory annual payments
anticipated in the current fiscal year, voluntary annual components received in the
prior fiscal year, and 1 /20th the initial value of each lump -sum payment.
➢ A consistent annual TDM allocation is desirable for the town budget process.
➢ TDM agreements have not specified annual disbursement.
➢ The current TDM stabilization fund is $216,125.
➢ The TDM allocation recommended for FYI consisted of $65,405 in annual
contributions, $10,000 from the Starwood account, and $2,500 for a total of
$77,905, rounded to $78,000.
➢ Receipt of additional lump -sum payments will increase the annual TDM
allocation to the Lexpress budget.
TAC Prospective Member
➢ Larry Link has attended two TAC meetings and will submit the form required to
seek Selectmen appointment.
➢ Larry mentioned that while he understands the time constraints inherent to
managing Lexpress he would like discussion expanded to explore service options.
➢ TAC members voiced support.
Route 3 Express 7:45 am Run
➢ Gail developed a mini route to compliment the posted schedule.
➢ Express route: Left from Depot Square onto Mass Ave; Left Woburn St; Right
Lowell St; Right Maple St at approximately 7:50 am; Right Mass Ave arriving at
Depot Square at Sam.
➢ Route 3 Express will run for several months on a trail basis to determine rider
interest.
➢ Trail period to begin Monday, November 30.
