Minutes of Meeting of June 27, 2011
A meeting of the Sustainable Lexington Committee (SLC) was held on June 27, 2011 in
the Selectmen's Meeting Room. A quorum of for was present.
Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Chair
Risk Abrams, Ken Moraff, Todd Rhodes
Members Absent: None
Other Attendees: George Burnell, Lexington Selectman
Gabe Shapiro, Next Step Living (NSL)
Pasi Mi tti*nen, Sagewell, Inc.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.
Minutes from the May 24, 2011 meeting were approved.
Gabe Shapiro provided the committee with an overview of NSL's program and plan for
working with the SLC and Sagewell, Inc. to improve the energy efficiency of residential
buildings in Lexington.
Pasi Miettinen provided the committee with an overview of Sagewell's plan for
identifying buildings that would benefit most from actions to improve energy efficiency
by taking infra -red images of Lexington buildings.
The committee approved a motion to accept the proposed timelines and action items
proposed by Sagewell and Next Step Living. (3 votes in favor and 1 abstention).
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 pm.
