Attendance has declined since we raised rates as of July 6, 2007 and we stopped providing transportation for out-of-town clients. Fifty (50 %) percent of our clients were from outside Lexington in 2004. Thirty -six (36 %) percent ofour clients in Fiscal Year 2007 were from out of town. Lauren reported that the problem with picking up clients who live outside Lexington is that it complicates pick -up times for Lexington residences, i.e, pick- up times will vary depending upon the travel distance and schedule for out-of-town clients. A subcommittee of Jane Pagett, Betty Borghesani, and Jane Trudeau will research options to increase attendance including shared or cooperative transportation with other towns to transport out -of -town clients.
