Memorandum
To: Design Advisory Group
From: John L. Davies, Chairman
Design Advisory Committee
Subject: Interested designers needed to work with sub - committees of the
Planning Board
The Planning Board has established or is establishing a number of sub - committees
to review the Town's position on various planning issues, and they have asked
the DAC to solicit the help of designers from the Group membership to work as
advisors to certain of these sub - committees. Specifically, the need is as
follows:
1. Street Standard
This job is being undertaken under the direction of Al Zabin,
and he has requested help from the DAG immediately.
2. Parking
Sub - committee not yet formed, but planned for the near future.
3. Recreation
Citizens Advisory Group not yet formed, but The Planning Services
Group has been retained as professional consultant to survey
recreation needs.
4. Subdivision Regulations
Sub - Committee not yet formed, but planned for in the near future.
This will be an important study and could benefit greatly from
DAG participation.
Anyone with knowledge or experience in these areas and who's willing to spend
some time working with the Board should contact Marion Snow or Ken Briggs at the
Planning Board office.
