Enablement Committee Advisory Status
Steve Baran distributed:
October 1982 charge to the Enablement Committee establishing it as an advisory subcommittee
to the Human Services Committee that focuses on handicapped affairs.
Ad hoc status, not formally appointed. Adopted by the Board of Selectmen. Two year terms.
August 1994 charge establishing it as an advisory committee to the Town's Human Services

Coordinator regarding the needs of the physcially challenged; implementatin for the Americans
with Disabilities Act within the Town. Appointed by the Town Manager. Length of term indefinite.
Steve explained that the latter charge supercedes the earlier one.
