Dear Alan,
This letter is to set for the terms on which the Trustees of public Trusts agree to hold the
Virginia and Edward Williams Scholarship Fund which my wife and I are establishing.
The Trustees will hold and invest the fund as part of the endowment fund
administered by them for the benefit of the Town of Lexington.
2. Each year the fund will transfer to the PTA Council Scholarship Committee or
their designated successor, 3/4 of the annual net income.
3. '/4 of the annual net in come and all capital gains shall be transferred to the
principal.
4. Each year the PTA Council Scholarship Committee shall award one or more
scholarships to be known as the Virginia and Edward William Scholarships. To
be eligible the recipient must meet the following criteria:
a. Be a graduate of Lexington High School,
b. Have demonstrated excellent community involvement and /or community
service.
5. The PTA Council Scholarship Committee shall allow a member of the Williams
and Zanin Families, as long as they are willing and able to serve, to present the
scholarship to the recipient.
I am pleased to be able to start this fund in honor of my father and in memory of my
mother.
