TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC TRUSTS
Minutes of Meeting
May 7, 2003
A meeting of the Trustees was held at 8 PM at 64 Marrett Road, Lexington,
MA. Present were Alan Fields, David Willianns, Thomas Taylor, and Karen Jackman.
The minutes of the January 2003 meeting were approved.
A request was received from LEF for a distribution of $25,000 from their fund. Since that
would leave less than $5000 in the fund, less than the minimum amount, Dave will explain
the policy to them and suggest a smaller distribution.
A motion was made and passed that certain amounts be transferred from various funds to
the PTA Scholarship Fund for distribution hi accordance with the memo attached to these
minutes.
A motion was made and passed that $2305.50 be distributed from the Jack Eddison
Blossom Fund to the DPW for the purchase of flags and' $600 from the Tower Park Fund
for the repair of the wall at the Park.
A motion was made and passed that $1500 be paid from the George Gilmore Fund to the
Lexington Center Committee for publication of a Lexington Shopping Guide.
It was voted to pay Karen $2000 as of June 1.
Next meeting is July 16 at 12 noon at the State Street Bank in Boston.
