He is ready for a formal hearing 960 Massachusetts Avenue map 22 lot 84: Akram Bhuiya, presented plans for new vinyl windows and fiberglass front door. Mr. Bhuiya was told that the commission would not approve these materials and he should do some more research into wood materials before coming back for a formal hearing 55 Forest Street map 49 lot 149: Joe Artley, representing, Mr. and Mrs. Liu, presented plans for an addition. He is ready for a formal hearing 24 Bedford Street map57 lot 74: David Swan, presented plans for shutters. Mr. Swan was told that the commission would not approve the shutters unless they were wooden. He is ready for a formal hearing. Massachusetts Avenue from Battle Green to Town office Building & Waltham Street from Massachusetts Avenue to Vine Brook Road: Andrew Friedlich, presented a plan for signage throughout the center of town regarding walking bicycles on the sidewalks. Mr. Friedlich was told that the commission approved of the concept but he needed to have the full blessing of the tourism committee, which has undertaken all signage issues in the town center. 1625 MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE • LEXINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS 02420 Minutes of May 7, 2009 6 Parker Street map 49 lot 107: Brian Kelley, presented plans for Roofing. He is ready for a formal hearing. OTHER BUSINESS The Commission went over the agreement and set of responsibilities that both the Historic District Commission and The Historical Commission must sign in order to complete the application for Certified Local Government status. The Commissions will meet to discuss this agreement at the Historical Commission monthly meeting May 21, 2009.
