A. Updates— Corporation documents, logo, responses to mailings

Lexington 300th LOGO
Discussion on the 7 logo submittals received and interest of the Committee to widen the
search, possibly invite back the 7 students and connect with professional graphic
designer/artists
Jessie Steigerwald& Jane Hundley agreed to get together a subcommittee to determine how
to move forward and possibly to invite graphic designer to work with student submitters
Graphic Arts Department Head Sean Hagan will be approached by Van Seasholes &Dick
Kollen and asked for recommendations to proceed.
Corporation Documents—Attorney Alan Wrigley attended and explained work done thus
far for incorporation. Question on the possible relationship between the Lexington 300th
Committee and possible Corporation Directors was raised. Alan and Sue Rockwell will
question Selectman Norman Cohen for recommendations
Donna Hooper reported preliminary work done to establish a 'gift account' through the
Revenue Office to receive gifts specifically for the Lexington 300th Anniversary celebration.
Sue Rockwell distributed some copies of specific proposals received from community groups
planning to participate in the 300th Anniversary Celebration [listing to be made in minutes and
n'here available]
Donna Hooper will move ahead to set-up the Google Calendar on the Lexington 300th web
site Eric Carlson recommended we start with the 13-September 2012 through
13-September 2013
Next community event is scheduled for March 3, 2011 Van Seasholes recommended that
`personal touch' to invite participants to the March 3rd event. The Committee is to extend
personal contacts with groups/individuals Jane Hundley will seek space at the Fiske School
for the meeting, and provide an overview of school department activities planned thus far for
the 300th celebration at the meeting.
