The polls were declared open in each Precinct at eight
o' clock A. M. and remained open until eight o' clock P. M. at which
time after due notice they were declared closed.
The election officers were sworn to the faithful performance
of their duties.
The total number of registered voters in each precinct as
follows:
Precinct One Eighteen hundred six 1806
Precinct Two Nineteen hundred twenty-four 1924
Precinct Three Seventeen hundred ninety 1790
Precinct Four Eighteen hundred sixteen 1816
Precinct Five Nineteen hundred forty-four 19)4

Total: Eleven thousand seventy-seven 11077
The ballots were counted by the election officers in each
Precinct, the tally sheets and total vote sheets prepared by the 7
Town Clerk being used.
The ballots cast were counted, enclosed in envelopes sealed,
signed by the election officers, together with the unused ballots
and delivered to the Town Clerk at 'n i s office.
The Town Clerk and the members of the Board of Registrars
canvassed the results as follows:

Article 71. Presented by Selectmen, Haskell W. Reed.
-VOTED: To amend Article XXVI of the General By-Laws
by renumbering the present sections thereof, except
Section 1 and Section 3, to conform to the following
numbers:
Section 2. The fees for storage of gasoline under
General Laws, Chapter 48, Section 130
as amended, shall be as follows: For
issuing the original license, 0..00 plus
a reasonable charge for advertising.
For each annual certificate of registra-
tion, .50.
Section L . No person, except an officer of the law
in the performance of his duties, shall
enter upon the premises of another with
the intention of peeping into the windows
of a house or spying upon in any manner
any persons therein.
