Feedback
Additional No Parking signs need to be posted in the vicinity of the Massachusetts Avenue,
Bedford Street and Harrington Road area.
We need to do a better job of escorting event participants to the podium.
Assign someone to help raise and lower the microphone for the speakers.
Ask if Wilson Farm would be willing to donate an additional dozen flowers (totaling five dozen),
due to the increasing number of veterans attending the ceremony.
Suzie mentioned that in years past, at the conclusion of the ceremony, the parade marched back
to the step off point followed by a small reception. She will look into doing this again.
Patriots’ Day, Monday, April 18, 2011
Applications are still coming in.
Linda will ask if the Tufts ROTC group would like to participate in the afternoon parade.
Linda is looking for a contact at the National Guard.
Jeanne Krieger will be chief marshal of the afternoon parade.
Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2011
Linda may have a suggestion for a speaker.
