This was an abbreviated meeting due to inclement weather conditions
and the need for Public Facilities staff to handle on-call staff issues.
Fitch Fuel Catalyst
There was a discussion of the efficiency of the Fitch fuel catalyst and
its potential utility. While it was noted that there were claims of 9-
20% in fuel savings, actual savings were anticipated in the 8-10%
range. The Public Facilities group has questions about the methods of
achieving these savings and is not ready to work with this system yet.
League of Women Voters
The League of Women Voters is prepared to support women sponsored
energy conservation projects. Government set asides are available,
but many depend on Lexington being acknowledged as a green
community
