Dear Lexington Homeowner,
A tree was recently planted in front of your residence in the Town of Lexington right-of-way. Newly
planted trees require two years of regular watering, fertilizing, and pruning as needed to become
established. This summer season has been difficult with the high temperatures and dry conditions. It
would be most helpful if you can help us with watering. Usually about four gallons of water twice
weekly is needed if the soil is dry. With the excessive heat, sometimes daily watering is needed.
