Minutes for 30 November 2006 Meeting
Attendees: Julie Duncan, Ken Kreutziger, Bill Carlson, Florence Baturin, Inky MacDougall,
Martha Wood, Arthur Katz, Winifred McGowan, Iris Wheaton, Tom Harden, Bob Bicknell,

The Minutes of the meeting held on 26 October 2006 were approved as written.
Deed Restriction Project Update:
Bob is gathering together a committee of real estate people,
developers and bankers to discuss pertinent information with Judi Barrett concerning the deed
restrictions next week at 2pm on Dec 8 in room 111 Town Hall. Julie will attend from LHP.
On 13 December Bob Bicknell will be going to the CPA committee to talk about the $200,000
request we submitted. Consultant Judi Barrett will attend with Bob.
SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS:
Communications - Florence Baturin
-- They are still working on the text for the brochure. Hope
to have it ready for next meeting.
Zoning - Bob Bicknell
- - Discussed an interfaith coalition that is working to get the proposed
bylaw passed. The Planning Board will be submitting it to Town Meeting next spring.
Web site development - Bob Bicknell
–- Paul is working on it. The LHP website will be connected
to the website of the town. Bob will provide approved minutes for Paul to put on the site.
Foundation – report from Jeri Foutter
- - Everything is going fine. Filings with the Secretary of
the Commonwealth are being submitted for past years.
Exploring Options - Iris Wheaton
- - Brief discussion on Neighborhood Conservation project (list
of information sites from other communities will be sent to LHP members) and on the
situation regarding the house at St. Bridget’s
NEW BUSINESS:
LexHab - Martha Wood
- - Martha told the committee about a situation LexHab is facing
regarding two homes they soon will be able to rent. An interesting discussion ensued about
the many factors (rental fees, income, advertisement, preferences, etc.) that LexHab uses to
qualify and select renters.
Avalon at Lexington Hills
– Initial ads will probably go out this winter. Details will be coordinated
between the three towns and Avalon Bay in December.
