HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-04-12-CEC-min Capital Expenditures Committee (CEC) Meeting,April 12, 2010, 7 00 PM, Cary Memorial Building, Legion Room Members Present: David Kanter, Charles Lamb (Chair), Bill Hurley, Ted Edson (Vice-Chair), & Shirley Stolz Discussion of Town Office Building Renovation Proiect (Article 8(1)) Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is 5 4 in favor of reconsidered project with $1,185,523 as the new CPC dollar figure. That amount is the approximated allocation, out of the 75%-design estimate's total of$1,823,881, for the code and accessibility work—which is approximately 65% of the estimate If the Board of Selectmen doesn't come up with the balance ($638,358), then the CPC will move for Indefinite Postponement of Article 8(1) CEC's strawman vote was 4 1 in favor of the project with the new funding split. (Bill would be in favor if the approximately $638K were funded with a Debt Exclusion.)
