George Burnell (Selectman), Susan Bennett (Executive Director, Lexington Historical Society) Discussion of Munroe Tavern Renovation The curatorial storage has been moved to the Munroe Tavern. They will follow the same process as in the Hancock-Clarke House • Repair/restore the roof clapboards, windows, floors, and historic fabric • Upgrade the systems. rewire, climate control, add heat to the historic part of the house, add a new sprinkler system. • New plumbing, bring in a new water line from the street. • Make the house ADA compliant and the second floor accessible with a small lift. • Refashion the storage on the second floor • Add a room where they can seat 25 people (classroom) They will do some fundraising around the museum room. If they don't get enough from the fundraising, they will go to Brookline Bank for a loan.
