Discussion of School Capital Requests
New enrollment numbers imply that Hastings will not close and may need mayor renovations
before 2020
30% increase of in-migration of pre-school kids over the last 5 years. This won't show up in the
High School for 13 years. The High School is designed only to hold 1,800 students and has to
accommodate approximately 2,000 right now
Could renovate Bridge and Bowman Elementary Schools for $14M total.
