TOWN WARRANT
Town of Lexington
Commonwealth of Massachusetts Middlesex, ss.
To any of the Constables of the Town of Lexington Greetings:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are to notify the inhabitants of the Town of
Lexington qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs to meet in their respective voting places in said
Town.
PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL; PRECINCT
THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, BRIDGE SCHOOL; PRECINCT
FIVE, FISKE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT
SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL; PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING;
PRECINCT NINE, MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL, on Monday, the twentieth day of May, 2002 at 7:00
a.m., then and there to act on the following questions:
1.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-
half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to pay for
improvements to town streets, and to take by eminent domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any
fee, easement or other interest in the land necessary therefor?

2.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-
half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to reconstruct the
Lincoln Park athletic fields and parking lot?
Yes No
3.Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-
half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bonds to be issued in order to design, construct,
originally equip and furnish two new elementary schools to replace the current Fiske and
Harrington Elementary Schools?
Yes No
The polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 8:00 p.m.
And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the time of said meeting as provided in
the Bylaws of the Town.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or
before the time of said meeting.
