instructor. Registration is required. Many of our classes and programs are free

If you need financial assistance, scholarships are available, please speak with
Carrie Johnson, LCSW, Assistant Director of Senior Services.
October is the time to get your flu shot! There is discussion and concern
this year about H1N1, a different strain of "the flu." For people over the age
of 50, the greatest concern is the prevention of the regular seasonal flu virus.
As the H1N1 vaccine becomes available, it will be offered to priority groups
first, then to all. The Senior Center will offer seasonal flu clinics on October
5th and 28th. These are free, drop in clinics sponsored by Osco Pharmacy.
Please bring your Medicare card if you have one. Updated information about
the flu and Lexington flu clinics is available for you to pick up at the Senior
Center. You may also get information on the Town of Lexington website:
www.lexingtonma.gov, or by calling David Neylon, RN, Lexington's Public
Health Nurse at 781 - 862 -0500 X281.
