Minutes for Meeting February 8, 2010
Cary Memorial Library
Present: Louise Cady- Fernandes, Recording Secretary; Victoria Campos; Zoe -Perry -Wood, Co-
Chair; Sirassrpi Heghinian Walzser; Marilyn Kolb, Treasurer; Christine Kyle
Absent: Jonathan Cue; Liz Rozan; Jan Goplerud; Jackie Hawkinson
Call to Order:
Zoe Perry -Wood called the meeting to order at 7:25PM.
Secretary's Report
The minutes for the 3anuary'10 meeting were accepted.
Treasurer's Report
Marilyn Kolb's Treasure's report was accepted. We have a balance of $7802.51 in our
account. 5K is dedicated to the library project.
Topics discussed tonight:
• Marilyn gave an in depth review of the council's finances.
• Marilyn has offered to be the corresponding secretary as well as the Treasurer.
• Victoria has offered to be our new recording secretary to replace Louise who is leaving
the council.
• We are looking for three new council members to fill the vacancies on our council.
• The grant recipient letters were filled out and addressed at tonight's meeting.
• The March community input meeting has been put on hold for now. We are thinking of
creating a survey to get a better idea of what is on people's minds concerning the arts in
Lexington. Marilyn is collecting anyone's thoughts about questions we should ask.
• Discussion about LexMedia.
