PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
MEETING OF NOVEMBER 16, 2009
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was held in the Planning Office, Town Office
Building, and called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Vice Chairman Canale with members Zurlo, Hornig,
Manz and planning staff McCall-Taylor and Henry present. Mr. Galaitsis was absent.
***************************SPECIAL TOWN MEETING***************************
Article 4, Center Uses: The Board members signed the report for Article 4. Ms Manz reported
that the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) had met with the Center Committee and no longer felt a
special permit should be required for all food-related uses in the Center. The ZBA will not be
offering an amendment but will recommend adoption of the motion that the Planning Board had
endorsed. The Board reviewed the draft of the remarks Ms. Manz would make on the article to
Town Meeting.
On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to recess to Town Meeting at 6:55. At the
conclusion of the Town meeting session, on a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to
adjourn the meeting at 10:35 p.m.
