Presentations:
Old Reservoir: $55,000
Project; Mike Flamang and Dave Pinsonneault presented the project
to reconstruct the gatehouse control and spillway to control the reservoir
water level and water run off.
Rationale; To prevent loss of property to dam and down stream
property from flooding.
Fire Station: $40,000
Project; Chief Middlemiss Study to examine space utilization and
design of entire fire station.
Rationale; Enhance the utility of an historic and rehabilitate it using
extraordinary repairs.
N.B. Discussion regarding use of last year’s utilization occurred.
East Lexington Fire Station: $57,500
Project; To add central air conditioning 29.5K and new windows 18K
Rationale; Enhance utility and rehabilitate historic building by
extraordinary repairs.
Town Office Complex: $127,000 Peter Chalpin and Bill Hadley presented
the project.
Project; New storm windows.- estimate only
Rationale; Enhance utility, and rehabilitate historic building by
extraordinary repairs.
Senior Center: Marian Cohen, Paul LaPointe, and Lauren McSweeney
presented the project.

Process: Discussion as to how to insure that the grants recommended by the
CPC and approved by Town Meeting are carried out in a timely manner and
for the purposes for which they were intended.
