Fred ytarcus said he was misquoted with regard to mitgating~ traffic measures, and that he had not necessarily requested a cutback, but was responding to the need for mitigating measures. 2. More votes on key isues are needed. 13. G~uestion on whether the corrected minutes get to Selectmen. 11. HF~~C should look at the Enabling Legislation as we have no authority. Tf HFAC isn't the vehicle for Z°own concerns, then who is the vehicle'' If HFAC is a public relations tool, and thats a11, maybe c.;e should go to the State for legis}ati~n. 18. HFAC will see the mitigating measures as part of the Draft they will review. The consultant will start in April and c.;il1 have a draft in September for HFAC. H~1~IH is working on the rtcise section noc.. Cerasuolo Land - Norm Faramelli explained that `~iassport would not make an offer until we know it is still for sale. Jane Farmer stated that the Codman deal is off. Jet A~-iation Fuel Spill - Michael Dye read a report to HFAC. Ninety-nine percent of fuel has been picked up and they are working c.;ith DEQE to pick up residual. ^Iike Goulian said that Stead .aviation had built the fuel farm and that the tanks are not contained. He said fuel had been leaking in the creek adjacent to Jet Aviation since July. He stated he reported fuel spill in the creek to ~tassport in July, 1986. The Structure and Design construction company reported it. yiichael Dye said the sheen in the brook is related to the oilJwater separator and not to the fuel-farm. .John Wraga asked if the ra.~m is encased or vaulted. Michael Dye thought so and- will took at `~tassi;~rt plans. Fred Marcus asked why HFAC wasn't told in February. The Selectmen and Towns should be notified right away. DEQE should make a presentation to HFAC to show all that w~,s done and what the status is. HQ said it was again a gap in communication. Mike Goulian said the local fire department should be notified in 24 hours. Michelle ~tatteo said that the watersheds in Bedford could be affected. Michael Dye notified ~tasspor.t, DEQE, Ptassport Fire Department and Clean Harbors within 24 hours. Statistics - Norman Faramelli presented the report. He was questioned about the EXP and advised that an answer would be provided at the next meeting. Other - Michelle Matteo advised that two bills have been filed X1'02 for an in lieu of tax payment to surrounding towns at Hanscom and rr1~90 to have anything, other than operation of an aircraft subject to local zoning. Fred Marcus asked about Sikorsky helicopter service from Boston to Bedford. He gave Norm Faramelli a schedule. Fred Marcus discussed use of taps recorders at the meetings and said that. someone wants to bring one, it is O.k., but should be open and tell everyone you plan to tape certain sections. N. Lexington Association stated there is strong. opinion on motel, pi~rchaling of land and showed a petition.
