The discussion centered on what to include in the presentation for the Select Board meeting, such as: whether to include a brief history of disability rights as civil rights, ADA, why the resolution is proposed, what expectations the Commission has. • Language from the resolution itself was fully supported and remained unedited. • There was discussion about the kind of background information that would useful to include in this presentation to help advance the resolution at the Select Board and again in Town Meeting. • The Commission was in agreement that this Resolution was being advanced to reinforce the need to increase awareness about inclusivity and ensure equitable access to programming, supports, and services in Lexington for all its residents. Minutes respectfully submitted by Sue Cusack
