Public Comments: Jane Epstein, an abutter to 20 Waltham Street, addressed the Commission.
Mrs. Epstein notified the commission the door being on the left hand side is not welcoming,
having the door in the center would make it more handicap accessible. Mrs. Epstein stated her
concern for moving the elevator. Karen Scopetski, representative of Lab Collaborative,
addressed the Commission regarding 20 Waltham Street. Mrs. Scopetski stated this expansion is
going to bring great opportunities. Patric Barbieri, representative of Lab Collaborative, address
the Commission regarding 20 Waltham Street. Mr. Barbieri notified the Commission that small

changes can make a huge impact on what this accomplish. Tom Brown, representative of Lab
Collaborative, addressed the Commission regarding 20 Waltham Street. Mr. Brown stated the
importance on having the entrance being accessible with an elevator nearby. Kathy Farley, an
abutter to 20 Waltham Street, addressed the Commission. Mrs. Farley stated this is for the whole
community and they are excited.
The Commission discussed the project at the Police Department.
The Chair informed the Commission 1707 Massachusetts Avenue withdrew their
application with the HDC.
The Commission discussed the Hosmer House project.
