First we approved the November meeting minutes which were approved by everyone. We moved onto our
Turkey Delivery event. It went really well, people were very receptive and friendly despite covid.
Matthew suggested having double boxed dinners because they leaked, so we will improve that for next
year. We delivered 37 dinners.
We recapped our Holiday Ticket sales next. We really liked using Venmo because it was easy to ask
people who live farther away or ask friends who don't always have cash on them. We discussed having
smaller but more prizes or having less expensive tickets. We also discussed attaching a link to the tickets
so buyers know it is official. Elena discussed doing a basket as part of the winners prize. Max discussed
we wouldn't be able to advertise or choose a broad enough prize basket for the variety of buyers we have.
Lastly,we gave a big shoutout to Isabel K who sold 40 tickets and everyone else who went above and
beyond selling. Andrew concluded this topic by adding that we could add an incentive to whoever sells
the most tickets to motivate members to sell more. This year, despite covid we sold more money than we
have in years past.
Next, Annabel discussed Cradles to Crayons and the covid regulations they have in place. Because their
occupancy level is so much less,we could probably only allow 10 people to participate. So we discussed
postponing and trying to find another activity because we want everyone to participate.
After,we discussed our next community service opportunity which is this weekend on Saturday the 12th
from 12-3. We will have 11 members helping out to address letters for FOLMADS.
Last,we drew the winning tickets for the Holiday Raffle,Ben Brasher won the $1000 prize.
Our next meeting is Thursday, January 14th 2021 from 7:00-8:OOpm.
Respectfully submitted,
Regina Tashjian,LYC Secretary
