We held our November meeting on Thursday,November 12th, 2020. First we approved the October
Meeting Minutes. We then recapped our food pantry neighborhood. We had overwhelming success,
donating around 600 bags of cans to the Lexington Food Pantry. Some suggestions for next year were to
have more volunteers to help sort food into categories and check expiration dates. Another suggestion was
to give the guidelines of what kinds of food people should donate. Overall, all the neighbors really liked it
and wanted to see the outcomes of our success.
Next,we discussed our turkey dinner delivery,we have 9 cars with 3-4 dinners per car. Members will
wear masks in cars and sit in different rows. The drivers and passengers are: Katie, Regina, and Elena,
Annabel and lzi, Max and 011ie, Hobie and Andrew, Jack and Duncan, Lucentes, Becca and 1pek,
Neeka and Camelia, Marilyn and Sandy. We are going to figure out the best way to remain socially
distanced when dropping off dinners. We also discussed that this event is very confidential and it's really
important that our members respect the family's privacy.
We moved on to our Holiday Ticket Fundraiser. Shannon attached instructions to the tickets about having
people venmo their money in for the ticket as another option of payment in addition to paying in cash or
check. Katie will be giving tickets this weekend to the team leaders to distribute. These tickets should be
given to each member by Monday,November 16th. All ticket tickets, stubs, cash, checks and venmos are
due to your team leader by Monday, December 7th, live drawing will be at our December 10th meeting.
Cradles to Crayons is allowing groups to come and volunteer. We are hoping to volunteer on Martin
Luther King Day, Monday January 18th. Upperclassmen will get priority to go because this will be their
last years of volunteering at Cradles to Crayons, all seniors who want to go will get a spot. After we know
how many people Cradles to Crayons will let volunteer, then we will notify what juniors and
lowerclassmen can go. Members who want to go are (seniors in bold): Duncan,Andrew,Avery, Elena,
Sandy,Kennice, Carolyn,Adeline, Isabel K, Ella T, Isabella B, Sophia, Ipek,Hobie, Ella L, Marilyn,
