Approval of June minutes Staff Reports: Michelle Kelleher, Senior Services Coordinator Zoom programs: • Pilot webinars on nutrition • Blue Cross Blue Shield hosted eight one hour sessions on variety of health topics • Monthly support group for caregivers • Library presentation on services • OWLL Summer program (free) has 78 registered • Intergenerational Club training OWLL and seniors on Zoom • July 14 Grab and Go ice cream sundae 1:OOPM • High school students doing interviewing project with seniors Christine Dean, Community Center • Not known when building will re-open, met with environmental consultant re: safety • Summer programs up and running,virtual and in person • %day camp,4 wk archery, adult fitness • Getting feedback on use of playgrounds, pools and beach closed Age Friendly Initiative Julie Ann presented 3 recommendations to Select Board • Home modification program • Senior parking sticker to avoid meters in center • Neighborhood postcard to be advertised to encourage neighbors to get to know each other. National Neighbor Day is September 28th • Also looking into working with commercial business to allow accommodations for seniors during -COVID New Business None Liason Reports(sparse b/c many groups not met due to pandemic) Minuteman Senior Services Bea Holland described MMSS as a compassionate organization Transportation-Sudhir Jain Lexpress service has been stopped and is now available on demand. It will be coming back on 2 routes. Next week will be a public forum; proposal to Selectmen on 7/8.
