EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES
Wednesday, April 03, 2002 at 8:00 A.M.
MINUTES
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rev. Dr. Peter H. Meek at 8:00 A.M.
at Cary Hall. Present from the Executive Committee: Rev. Jed N. Snyder. Also
present: Carol A. Mahoney, Library Director and Cynthia Johnson, Assistant
Director.
Since there was not a quorum in attendance no votes were taken.
Pav as you Through U date
Because the courts reversed PAYT the Town has to lower the FY 03 budget. The
Senior Managers will be reviewing the FY03 budget submissions and preparing a
list of potential budget reductions.
PBC Member
Walter Pierce has been interviewing two candidates for the library's opening on
the PBC. The trustees will be voting for a person to represent the library sit on the
PBC after the next trustee meeting, April 23, 2002.
Town Meeting
This year the library will not be presenting anything to Town Meeting. However, a

project and the fundraising. This will be a handout toward the end of the session.
Publici
When the town's tax bills go out in the summer a letter will be included from the
Trustees informing the residents about the giving the library project. It will also
thank everyone for their support.
