Description: This Subcommittee will consider Conservation Commission and Staff Goals and Priorities for
FY 21 through FY 26 in regards to Conservation Land Management and Stewardship and make Project
Priority Recommendations for FY 21 through FY 26 to the Conservation Commission for approval.

The goal of the Subcommittee will be to evaluate current projects and the proposed master list of projects
while balancing newly identified projects along with limited staff bandwidth, especially in light of
vacancies and the pandemic,in order to make recommendations to the Conservation Commission for setting
Conservation Land project priorities for FY 21 to FY 26. Consideration of priorities shall be given to
projects that achieve multiple Goals identified in the 2019 Land Management Priorities and Goals Exercise
and in the 2015 Opens Space and Recreation Plan Update Action Plan.
Criteria for membership:Three Members will be members of the Conservation Commission while the other
two members shall have an interest or background in Land Conservation, Stewardship and/or Land
Management.
Ex-Officio Members/Staff: The Conservation Director is ex-officio nonvoting member and shall support
this subcommittee at their discretion.
Prior to serving as a member of this Subcommittee, appointees, if not a member of another committee
having already completed these items, are required to:
1. Acknowledge receipt of the Summary of the Conflict of Interest Statute. Further, to continue to
serve on the Committee, the member must acknowledge annually receipt of the summary of the
Conflict of Interest Statute. Said summary will be provided by, and member's acknowledgement
shall be sent to,the Town Clerk.
2. Provide evidence to the Town Clerk that the appointee has completed the on-line training
requirement required by the Conflict of Interest Statute. Further, to continue to serve on the
Committee, the member must acknowledge every two years to the Town Clerk completion of the
on-line training requirement.
