PLANNING BOARD MINUTES
MEETING OF MARCH 19, 2020
Minutes of the Lexington Planning Board
Held on March 19, 2020, Virtual Meeting per Governor Baker’s Order at 7:00pm
Present: Robert Creech, Chair; Charles Hornig, Vice-Chair; Robert Peters, Clerk; and Richard Canale. Also, present
was Amanda Loomis, Planning Director
Robert Creech, Chair, read the agenda into the record, introduced members of the Planning Board and Planning
Department Staff, and called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
Development Administration
1. 147 Shade Street, Definitive Site Sensitive Development
Robert Creech, Chair opened the public hearing for the Definitive Site Sensitive Development
Application for the property at 147 Shade Street and requested a motion for continuance.
Charles Hornig moved that the Planning Board continue the public hearing without testimony for the
Site Sensitive Development Application for 147 Shade Street to Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 7:00pm
in a virtual meeting per the instructions provided on the Planning Board’s webpage. Richard Canale
seconded the motion. The Planning Board vote in favor of the motion 4-0-0 via roll call (Richard Canale
– yes; Robert Peters – yes; Charles Hornig – yes; Robert Creech – yes). MOTION PASSED
2. 840 Emerson Gardens Road, Balanced Housing Development
Robert Creech, Chair opened the public hearing for the Balanced Housing Development
Application for the property at 840 Emerson Gardens Road and requested a motion for
continuance.
Charles Hornig moved that the Planning Board continue the public hearing without testimony for the
Balanced Housing Development Application for 840 Emerson Gardens Road to Wednesday, March 25,
2020 at 7:00pm in a virtual meeting per the instructions provided on the Planning Board’s webpage.
Richard Canale seconded the motion. The Planning Board vote in favor of the motion 4-0-0 via roll call
(Richard Canale – yes; Robert Peters – yes; Charles Hornig – yes; Robert Creech – yes). MOTION
PASSED
Adjournment
The Planning Board voted five (4) in favor, zero (0) opposed, and zero (0) in abstention to
close the March 19, 2020, public meeting of the Planning Board.
