Pre-Meeting Tasks
Review of handouts&minutes

• WELCOME-Chairperson (Seetha Ramnath)
• Introduction—new LCA member: Shubhra Chandra
• Recruiting; Shubhra Chandra will be Treasurer, Steve Poltorzycki will be Recording
Secretary
• ArtWalk funding—the conversation with Inessa Manning regarding potential for LC4A to
partially fund ArtWalk did not take place
• Strategic Plan update for next year—Seetha Ramnath spoke with the Town Manager's
office regarding LC4A 2021 budget
• OLD BUSINESS
• Community Survey—Seetha will forward to Shubhra for review
• Grant reimbursements: Two requests for reimbursement for the 2018-2019 grant cycle
were received and are being processed (Fitchburg Art Museum; Metropolitan Wind
Symphony)
• Grants for 2019-20. Approximately 30 grant applications have been received.
• Breakthrough Artist award will be considered this year.
• REPORTS (10 minutes)

• September minutes approved (motion by Steve Poltorzycki, seconded by
Shubhra Chandra)
• Treasurer's Report
• Update on State& Local budgets—State budget available for funding $6,565
local funds available approximately 50%of state funding. Local general ledger
funds$7,500 available for matching grants and special cultural projects approved
by Council.We will need to confirm with Krista Murphy what paperwork needs to
be submitted when disbursing funds.

4. 2019-20 PLANNING (All Members). Holly Stumpf will be communicating with Linda Shoemaker
regarding a drum circle performance in the spring/early summer.
