Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday, November 14th, 2019
Members Present: Debbie Hankins, Shannon DeGuglielmo, Kristina Hankins, Tom Romano,
Alessia Caira, Anthony Mabardy, Serena Caira, Annabel Cincotta, Sandy Raman, Katie Devine,

1. Read and approved October's meeting minutes.
2. We welcomed our new adult advisor: Tom Romano.
3. We recapped our Halloween balloon-hanging and Veteran's Day Parade. Both went well
and we will be taking part in them again next year.
4. We discussed our Thanksgiving turkey deliveries that will take place on Wednesday,
November 27th at 3:00 pm. We will meet at C&W (240 Bedford St) and get into groups
by car to make deliveries. We spoke about our confidentiality agreement with the
families receiving the turkey deliveries. The following said they could come (names in
bold can drive): Summer, Becca, Anthony,Alessia, Myles (maybe), Charles (maybe),
Madelyn, Marina, Emily, Skylar, Avery, Ella, Payton, Serena, Ella, Hobie, Andrew, Jack
(maybe), 011ie, Max (maybe), Matthew, Sandy, Katie, Marilyn, Elena, Neeka, Izi, and
Camelia,
5. We introduced the possibility of a drive-in movie theater in order to raise money and
raise awareness for the community center. We organized a committee of 4 LYC members
that will work with Tom Romano to start the process to see if feasible. They will add
more committees once decision is made.
6. RAFFLE Tickets—Everyone please sell tickets, you have Thanksgiving next week,
where you will be with family and friends great time to sell them. If you are able to sell
additional tickets, reach out to Deb. We will be pulling the winner at our Thursday,
December 14 meeting, and calling them LIVE.
Remember you need to bring your ticket stubs, and money with you to the meeting, if
you are not attending YOU MUST get these to your Team Leader, Anthony, Alessia or
Katie or Deb in Room 202 at LHS. We will reach out to you after Thanksgiving to set up
a BLITZ if necessary.
7. We introduced a laser-tag event that could take place in the community center. We could
rent laser tag equipment and have a movie, games, snacks, etc. We will discuss this at
future meetings and how we can start to plan it.
8. We took down sizes for our LYC tee shirts. If you were not there and have not sent Deb
the size you want, please do it now. Dhankl276@aol.com
Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 12th at 7 PM in the Community Center
Dining Room.
