Pre-Meeting Tasks
Review of handouts&minutes

Present: Seetha Ramnath, Steve Poltorzycki,
Absent: Amy Kaser, Jessie Steigerwald, Lynne Klemmer, Rebecca McGowan

Meeting start time:
• WELCOME-Chairperson (Seetha Ramnath)
• Introduction—Posters are out in Cary Library, Munroe and to the Town's Public Officers
advertising this year's MCC grant application process. Seetha also shared with Cristina
Burwell and Steve the ads to hang in high foot-traffic locations
• Recruiting (Treasurer, Secretary)—Amy Kaser and Rebecca McGowan have resigned
from the committee this year. Lynne Klemmer and Jessie Steigerwald have chosen not to
renew their membership
• ArtWalk funding—Steve will reach out to Cristina to see if there is a request for support,
and if so what it is.
• Strategic Plan update for next year—Seetha and Steve will work on this together.
• OLD BUSINESS
• Community Survey—Completed and submitted to Town Manager in December 2018-19
• Grants for 2019-20—Plan for December meeting with a small committee expected.
Quorum rules have been discussed with Jill Hai.
• Breakthrough Artist application update—Seetha will gauge if this should go on after
December meeting or during.
• REPORTS (10 minutes)
• Secretary's Report(Seetha Ramnath)
• Approval of previous meeting's minutes—Seetha will prepare June 2019 minutes
for review.Also until another Secretary is recruited, she will continue to take
minutes.
• Treasurer's Report(Amy Kaser)
• Update on State& Local budgets—Amy sent monies to be listed as$2883 local
budget and state budget update will require information from the Town
accounting department
• Reimbursements update-2 more reimbursements received that Steve and
Seetha have signed and submitted to Town.
• Communications Report

• LexArts update—awaiting committee candidates
