Ms. Barry called the meeting to order at 5:05 pm.
The committee unanimously approved the October 1s' meeting minutes, (Motion by Judith Crocker,
second Msgr. Garrity)
The committee unanimously approved the Ad Hoc Crematory Committee's content for the Town
Meeting Annual Report.
The committee continued review of the Draft Final Report. The committee reviewed the report
paragraph by paragraph with a focus on; factual accuracy, clarification, deleting irrelevant
information, missing information, and organization. Updates to be reviewed at the next meeting
with a goal to approve Final Report.
The Committee continued discussing the possibility incorporating a section (in the final report) to
express an individual member's minority opinion. Narain Bhatia distributed a paper to the
committee for comment. The paper was meet with concerns. In general, the data contained in the
draft paper had been carefully evaluated by the whole Committee and was not agreed upon as
presented.
In response to wording in the minority draft paper, Msgr. Garrity reiterated that the LICA resolution
does not support the building of a crematory at Westview Cemetery.
The next meeting scheduled for Monday, October 28th (5pm to 6:30pm). The committee adjourned
at 8:10 pm.
