Submit the following - viz - We are of the unanimous opinion that the district are in need of better accomodation for school purposes and therefore recommend that the sum of $1400. dollars (& the Old School House), be granted for the purpose of building a new House - And in reference to the location we think it best to obtain sufficient land of Mr Marett immediately adjoining the old lot for a play-ground, or yard, as the necessities may sum to require - your committee were petitioned by numerous members of the district to locate the House further South, upon the Lincoln Road- near the spot formerly occupied for the same purpose- In answer to this petition, we would say that the 20 houses located northerly of the present school house seem to forbid a southerly migration for the accomodation of 14 houses.- Submitted by Isaac N.
