D. 184Z_ and proceeded c_1 e_�� U Gce,c.� - l�L�---� ��1�� �--�`�""r� / ,✓ :%vim o4 r r t i 1013 c���, lc.�t.cr...-/ i-U.__..�i1 a-�--e-7�i��`� \ i� �Y AND TH COMMISSIONERS determine and order, that the inliabitants of the town of being the t n in which said highway is situated, shall on or before the first day of which will be in the year of our Lord 184 -Z, lay open, construct, and completes highway, so that twenty-four feet in width thereof throughout the whole, exclusive of gutters on the sides, shall be safe and convenient for the passage of Oxen, Horses, Carts, Wagons, Car- riages and Teams of every description, with customary loads. The form and manner of construction shall be as follows : All stumps, stones, and other obstructions shall be removed from every part of the same =�-- to the width aforesaid ; and so shaped that the centre shall be eighteen inches higher than the sides by a regularly curved surface; all'small inequalities shall be reduced to a level, or a regularly inclined plane, ascending or descending, and greater rises and hills, to an angle not exceeding s„L degrees►with the horizon: drains, sluices, and bridges constructed of stone, and of sufficient capacity, shall be made at all places necessary for conducting away the,water; swampy.an ^f* � •' � '' " �' "'^ 't ^* laast and --"'L inches on the surface of the whole part to be travelled-upon, shall consist of gravel or other materials, which shall be permanently hard; where excavations are necessary, the banks on the sides shall not be left standing at a greater angle than ifs degrees with the horizon; railings shall be erected at all steep and dangerous places: and the whole shall be done in a workmanlike manner, to the acceptance of said Commissioners. AND SAID COMMISSION ���� estimate the expense of making said highway in manner and form aforesaid in the town of �x?Lc� at And the proprietors or occupants of the lands, over which said highway is thus laid out, are allowed until the first day of next to remove from the premises any wood, timber, trees, or other property not useful for the construction of said highway.
