The hearing on the ; etition of the cit;,* of Cambridge
involving the roads in the town of Lexington is assigned for next
Mlonday forenoon.. We would like vezy much to have the selectmen come
in if possible because it has score f, fect on the cor rlit,tee f the t:ow?i
officers ar there themselves.. There is also a petition of the city
of Waltham corning up Tue sde-y which asks for P-z1 act to 4.uthorize the
comff� issioners on topographical survey to estwolisb the lines
b^tVTeen Waltham and Lexington.

Ludden were both in court and did not see him . do riot regard
the matter ag of any consequence to either Waltham. or Lexington as
the proposeCl bill siTnpl7l authorizes the coT��issioners to establish the
lines . This was put in at the request of the cit,�, engineer of Wclthas.-',
so far as we know it anounts to nothing . If it. should come to the
