Dear Sir: Lexington Mass.
Your favor 23d " at hand.
The price on the steamer is
net, and we expect a bill of
it now at any time which on
receipt we will approve and
hand in. What you probably
refer to is the Chemical, Hose
Wagon and Harnesses. Those were
bought for $1425.00 subject
to a discount of 2% if
paid within, I think, 10
days after acceptance.
I presume the Chemical was
shipped Saturday in which case
it should be in Lexington
very soon. Am very glad you are
to take the benefit of the discount
and will see that you get the
bill immediately after it is
