To the town of Lexington Mass.
This is to notify the town of
Lexington Mass., that on the
twenty eighth day of December
A.D. 1894, we sustained damage to
our property by reason of a defect in
a certain highway or town way
in said Lexington, being the old
road to Woburn, said defect
consisting of an uneven ridge of
snow in said road of the place
where said damage was sustained
we hereby notify said town
that we claim damages for said
damage
