Selectmen, Lexington.
Dear Sir -.-
Enclosed herewith find the approval of your Return of State
Aid for the month of August last..
` Your attention is called to the disallowance of $4.00,
charged as paid to Sidney Butters.
By the Commissioners' letter of Aug. 7th. last, the Selectmen
were requested to discontinue further payment, as two payments had al-
ready been made beyond the time set-, and the span was not considered
to be in need.
If Mr. Butters is drawing $12.00 per month pension, and earn-
ing as gate-tender $30.00 per month, he is not entitled to State Aid ,
and we must ask you to pay no more Aid until the case is investigated.
Rlespectfully yours ,
