To William B. Foster Constable of Lexington. Greeting
By virtue of a warrant issued by William M. Butler
President of the Senate of Massechusetts you are hereby
required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of
Lexington qualified by Law to vote for Senators
to assemble at the Town Hall on Tuesday the twenty sixth day
of February A.D. 1895 at twelve oclock noon to cast their
ballots for a Senator for Second Middlesex District to fill
a vacancy in said office caused by the death of Oliver Shaw
of Watertown Senator elected for said District at the election
holden Nov 6. 1874
The polls will be opened immediately after the organization
of the meeting and will be kept open until four oclcok P.M.
and as much loger as the meeting may direct not to extend
beyond sunset.
Hereof fail not and make due return of the warrant with
your doings thereon to the Town Clerk, on or before the time of said
meeting.
Given under our hands at Lexington this ninth day
of February AD 1895.

the Registers of Votes will be in session at Town Officers room on
Tuesday Feby 12 1895 from 7 to 9. P.M. and at Village Hall on Monday
Feb 18 1895 from 7 to 9. P M and at Town Officers room on Friday Feby 22 1895
from 12 noon to 10 oclock P.M. at which time registration will cease for above
meeting.

Persuant to the foregoing warrant-
I have notified the inhabitants of the town of Lexington
by posting a duly attested copy of the warrant in
the Post Office and other public places in each Village
and by leaving a duly attested copy at every dwelling
house in the town three days before the time of said
meeting
