HomeMy WebLinkAbout2915 Warrant for Town Meeting of May 27, 1844 ' 1 To Joeiras - 4 ® am VZZE 9 Constable of - the Town. of -Lexingtong You are hereby required, in the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to notify and warn, (in manner and form prescribed by the By-Laws of the Town,) the qualified voters in said Town, to assemble at the Old Meeting House in said Town, on Monday,`the 27th dray of May, instant,_at 2 o'clock, P. M., to act on the following Articles, viz. : ART. 1. To choose a Moderator. ART.'2. To_hear the request of Joseph Fisk, to be dis-annexed from the North East School, or Scotland District, (so called,) and annexed to the North School, and to pass any vote or votes relating the premises, as they may then and there think proper. ARfi. 3. To see if Town will pay the rent of the Armory for the Lexington Artillery Coxn- pany the ensuing year. t ART. 4. To grant money to defray Town charges the ensuing year. ART. 5. To fill vacancies in Town Officers. ART. 6. To hear reports of Committees, and act thereon. Hereof fail not, and make return of this Warrant with your doings thereon, on or before the time prefixed.
