Mr. Feirce , of the seleotnen , reported tha.t the estimate
for the above Inoluded the neaessary expenditures for complet-
ing the work on Woburn Ftreet , North Hancock F`treet ,, 1,11ass-sichu-
setts Avenue at Concord SU.4-11 - the necessai-y cleaning up ir, the
sprinp 0
.,, and fall; and the re-surfaving of some of the bad planes
in the macadamized roads , but did not include the work which
was called for on Waltham tStreet . Tt was also voted in. thAs
connection that the committee recommend that the work refer-
red to in Article #21 of the 7.Rrrant shall be indefinitely post-
poned .

librarians in accordance with the increase in their work, and
