For cesspool and two 50 ft. drains 85. [total] #369.30 -2- The foregoing changes are hereby approved as represented and described, and this day ordered to be attached to the Contract. All claims for extension of time within which to complete the building, based upon alterations, changes and additions already ordered (including those embraced herein) and for any suspension of the work based upon the agreement of July 22, 1902, and for further suspension as ordered by the architects under letter of Aug. 4, 1902, are hereby adjusted and agreed to as entitling the contractor to seven days, and only seven days, beyond September 6th, 1902, i.e. to September 13th, 1902; it being the intent hereof to provide that all parts of the work heretofore and now respectively contracted for shall be completed not later than said thirteenth day of September, and that the fifty dollars ($50.) per day liquidated damages stipulated in the main contract shall accrue as to each and every day, if any, beyond September 13th, 1902, on which any part of the work shall remain uncompleted. As a part of this provision as to extension of time, it is mutually agreed that the deliveries of kiln-dried finish shall be withheld until Friday, August 8th current, and that the work of putting such finish in place (to be suspended until then) may be begun on said Friday and prosecuted without interruption thereafter. The Contractor hereby acknowledges the receipt of the specifications and drawings representing and describing the above mentioned alterations, changes and additions. H.P. Cummings Company By A. W.
