TREASURER AND RECEIVER GENERAL.
The following is respectfully suggested as a proper legal
form of Article of warrant .and vote for towns to use in authorizing
temporary loans in anticipation of taxes. (See Chap,23 ,Acts of 18931
and Chap. 221 , Acts of 1891. )
ARTICLE . . . . . . To see i{' the to*an will authorize the treasurer , with
the approval of the board of selectmen , to borrow money in
anticipation of taxes .
VOTED That for the purpose of pro wring a temporary loan to , and
for the use of, the Town of w, � $ .. , in anticipation
of the taxes of the present municipal year , the town treasurer
is hereby authorized and directed to borrow, from time to time
with the approval of the board of selectmen, a sum or sums in
the aggregate azaount ing to *'t�. dollars , and to execu
and deliver the note or notes of the town therefor , payable with-
in one year from the time the loan is wade , with interest thereon
at a rote not exceeding 5-- per cent . per annum. Any debt or
debts incurred by a loan or loans to the town under this vote
shall be paid from the taxes of the present municipal year.
