We enclose you a
copy of the action of the town upon a Bond by the late Thos.
Lock to this town and the committee respectfully ask to call
your attention to the subject and would desire you to name a
day & place & if possible before the 6 & 9 nov. next on which
you will meet us to take into consideration the subject matter
of said Board that an early & amicable adjustment may be
agreed upon, they feel bound to invite this cause wishing as no
doubt you do a dispension of any coercive measures to beyond
a period where hereby is ineffective.
