Lexington.
Gentlemen:-
I regret to inform you that Mr. B. F. Brown
has sent in his resignation, to take effect Sept. 1st., from the
School Committee of Lexington. He contemplates a journey, of in-
definite duration, abroad.
Will you kindly appoint a time for a joint meeting of your
Board and the Committee; to decide upon a successor to Mr. Brown.
